How Much Does Shipping Cost?

Where Do We Ship From?

We warehouse and fulfill our items through a variety of fulfillment centers across the U.S. When an order comes through it will get shipped from the closest distribution center to the customer.  This means orders usually arrive in 2-5 business days.

How Long Does It Take?

After an order is processed, 2-5 business days is the standard. Orders processed before 11am PST will ship same day. 

Where Do We Ship To?

Driftsun ships its orders within the continental United States excluding Hawaii, Alaska, APO, FPO, DPO. 

Hard Kayak Shipping Damage

We take pride in our packaging and do everything possible to ensure items arrive undamaged and in the same condition they left. Upon receiving, inspect your kayak thoroughly for any shipping damage. If you receive an item that appears to be damaged, have the carrier document the damage in writing on the BOL before signing anything. Ask the driver to return the kayak to its origin and contact us immediately.

Shipping Order Confirmations & Tracking

When your order is fulfilled, you will receive a shipping confirmation email stating that your order has been shipped along with tracking information. If you don't receive this email, please contact us.

GENERAL SITE RETURNS

Driftsun accepts merchandise returns within 30 days of the original receipt date and will issue a refund for the product at the time of the return, only with a valid proof of purchase and photos of the product. A valid proof of purchase is an original sales invoice or packing slip. 

Please reach out to us  to get the return process started. Please include your Order Number and reason for return. Return labels for general returns are not provided. 

GENERAL RETURN POLICY:

  • All products must be returned in original or unused condition with the product hang tags included (photos may be requested)
  • Driftsun will only honor returns placed with Driftsun.com
  • Return turn-around time is approximately 7-10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued upon receipt of your return

WHAT TO DO WHEN AN ITEM IS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If you notice damage upon opening the item (concealed damage), please reach out to us through the Contact Us page. Photos may be requested. Carriers only allow two (2) business days after delivery to file a freight claim, so please contact us as soon as possible. 

 

WHAT TO DO WHEN A PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE

For info about your specific warranty, parts or repairs, please reach out through the Contact Us page and we’ll be happy to guide you. Please be prepared to show proof of purchase and photos of the defective product.

WARRANTY: Original order number is required for all warranty claims. Driftsun’s One Year Warranty applies only to Driftsun’s brand of products and products authorized by Driftsun for resale.  If a Driftsun branded product or accessory fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. This warranty does not cover consequential damages or any other losses arising from any defect of the product.

We want to make sure you can use and enjoy your Driftsun product for years to come. Please contact our customer service for more information on how to obtain replacement parts. Please include your order number and item part number if possible.
